Psychotomy

so, when i went to take my shower this morning, i couldn’t get my hair tie out.

on and off during the day i tried, and it wouldn’t budge. when i got home,i finally cut it out. and my hair didn’t go anywhere. apparently i got it so matted, tangled, and knotted that the hair tie had become one with my hair, but wasn’t really DOING anything anymore.

i ended up spending 45 minutes washing my hair. pulling, tugging, tearing, rubbing in conditioner to help it losen up. oi. but as much as was involved, i was DAMNED if i was gonna cut it that short!

DAMNED!

i still need to go and get a couple inchesoff again, to deal with the frays and split ends and everything that this is usually a sign of :/
