OK. So.

Thursday (17 Nov) I leave my conference early, fevers chills headache.

Friday, headache diminishes some, fevers/chills are gone, but i have a scratchy throat and a cough.

Saturday, coughing a lot, generally feeling lousy.

Sunday, ditto

Monday, ditto. hit the doc’s for strep test. fast strep inconclusive, never heard back about culture

Tuesday, lousy. coughing. can’t really talk anymore, between the sick and the cough. drive to NC

Wednesday, lousy, coughing, silent. drive the rest of the way to atlanta.

thursday, lousy, coughing, mostly silent

friday, coughing, quiet

saturday, coughing, some voice

sunday, some coughing, mostly vocal.

still not “well”…

meds:

tylenol sinus
tylenol cold & flu
nyquil
vicks 44 decongestant
vicks 44 cough suppressant
advil multi-symtpom cuogh and cold
mucinex (expectorant; makes your coughs more productive)
zicam cold & flu spoons (day & night)
vitamin c tabs
theraflu cough

i think i tried one or two other things too.

mind, these weren’t ALL at once. usually no more than half of them, any given day.

yeah, ok, so I’ve probably got an ulcer and my blood has the consistency of water and i’ll have brain hemmorraging when i’m 90. but can’t i at least NOT BE SICK NOW????
