K’s getting slowly used to the baby

Well, actually, no. K’s entirely not getting used to the baby :o he comes home at night, and tries to stay as far away as possible :)

I’ve been trying to get K to come closer to the baby, but he knows that this is the interloper that’s messed up his nice comfy home, and he wants nothing to do with it. he acts like he’s afraid to get too close and get in trouble for it. kinda that “i ain’t touched him! see, i’m all the way over here, wasn’t me!” vibe

last night he curled up on nancy (my sister in law) and spent the evening in her chair since i spent a lot of time holding the baby so his lap was broken. Hoping to let someone else hold DK so K can curl on my lap some tonight and not have to worry about “his” daddy being stolen away. B/c that’ll be bad if he starts being resentful and angry. And i’m not sure he’s falling for camp every day, either. he comes home tired (goal 1), but i think he knows he’s in camp b/c of this THING breaking up his home.
